The Team Roper’s Association (TRA) was formed in 2001 by a few friends, who team roped and produced ropings on the weekends because of their love of the sport.

After a few years, these friends determined that an organization was needed for all classes of team ropers, where ropers could participate on the weekends and have a chance to win top quality prizes with good payouts. These friends started an organization and implemented their own unique abilities, experience, and knowledge to create a company that would provide unparalleled events throughout the state of Texas.

With quality producers, facilities, and cattle, the TRA has been able to provide its members with well run team ropings and an exceptional finals. Furthermore, TRA has continuously grown every year in membership and district locations with ropings being held in most areas of the State.

The TRA is a leading association in this industry and has plans to continue to improve and grow while satisfying its members with the best team ropings possible.
